Please sign the No Vote registry below if you believe that the high gas prices are a major problem

Trying to decide if it is that big of an issue for you to sign the No Vote registry. Take this scenerio to get an idea of just how bad the $3.00 per gallon of gas is on some individuals. Lets say that that this fictional person makes $8.00 per hour at their current job. After taxes and insurance, this person will bring home approximately $150-$175 per week. Lets also say that this individual lives in a rural area and has to drive 80 miles round trip just to go to work. At the end of the week, that person has driven 400 miles just to go to work. So, if they have a vehicle that gets 18 miles per gallon, they need at least 23 gallons of gas for the week, which takes another $69 away from their pay. So, now this individual has a WHOPPING $81 -$106 left to spend on groceries, house payment, child care, utilities, etc. you get the picture. If gas prices were back down to say $1.50 per gallon, we are now talking about this person having an extra $138 per month. That $138 could make a big difference in that persons life. they might actually be able to pay their a house payment and avoid foreclosure or be able to pay for their other necessities.Just think of how much better the economic forcasts would be if every American had more money in their pockets to put back into the economy.

With the presidential election coming up, we the American people need to join together by signing the No Vote registry, and put some heat under the president, and the presidential nominees in order to lower the gas pricing or at least for the topic to be raised as a MAJOR topic of concern! gas prices
